Dr. Howard grew up in the small town of Pembroke, Georgia, but her heart belongs in Auburn, Alabama where she attended Auburn University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology in 2016, a Master’s Non-Thesis in Biological Sciences in 2019, and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. WAR EAGLE! While at Auburn, she was also a student athlete on the softball team where she was able to compete for a national championship at the Women’s College World Series in 2016. Besides growing up with a love for softball, she has always had a passion for animals and their well-being. Dr. Howard knew she wanted to become a veterinarian at a young age due to her special bond with her family dog, Rock, and her beloved hamsters. These bonds showed her how truly special pets are in our lives, which drives her enthusiasm for helping her community keep their own pet’s happy and healthy.  

Dr. Howard is a mixed animal practitioner with interest in both horses and all things ruminant, big or small. Her other professional interests include small animal surgery, dentistry, dermatology, reproduction, integrative medicine, and emergency medicine. Dr. Howard can be found running with her dog Freya, cuddled up reading a book with her cat Chilli, or facetiming her family in her free time.
