Dr. Mary McClosky

Mary was born in Wilmington, Delaware but was raised in Spanish Fort, Alabama. She grew up surrounded by animals: her family had multiple dogs and she spent a large amount of her childhood riding horses. Her first job at a veterinary clinic was as a kennel technician when she was 16 years old. From that point on, she knew she would love a job in the veterinary field.

Mary went to college and veterinary school in Auburn, Alabama (WAR EAGLE!). She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture in 2013 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. McClosky started her job with Animal House Veterinary Clinic in July of 2017. She especially appreciates making long-term relationships with clients and always strives to enhance the human-animal bond. Dr. Mary has two black Labradors at home, Memphis and Jude, and loves to visit her family in Alabama whenever able. When not at work, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, playing the guitar, and spending time with her friends in Nashville.
