Dr. Jillian Edwards

Dr. Jillian Edwards was born in Huntingdon, TN, and raised in the country by her loving parents along with 3 brothers and many different animals. She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where she received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2002. Dr. Edwards then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville, TN in 2006. She is a member of the AVMA, TVMA, and VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society).

After practicing mixed-animal, general practice for 7 years, Dr. Edwards moved to Clarksville and joined the Animal House team in 2013 as an associate veterinarian in the evening hours clinic. While being passionate about preventative care and spay-neuter education to prevent unnecessary illness and emergencies, Dr. Edwards loves emergency and trauma medicine and surgery.

Dr. Edwards has many, multispecies pets and believes every pet deserves a happy, forever home. She volunteers with many rescue groups to promote pet adoption, spay-neuter, and responsible pet ownership and breeding practices. She also enjoys kayaking, camping, exercising, REALLY GOOD food, reading, and binge-watching TV.
