Dr. Courtney Baugher grew up in Alabaster, Alabama where she was an active member of her local 4-H club. She spent most of her free time working with and showing horses. In 2017, she received her Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University. There, Dr. Baugher majored in Animal and Dairy Science with a minor in Microbiology. She continued at Mississippi State, earning her Doctor ofVeterinary Medicine in 2023. Much of her externship hours in veterinary school were spent furthering her experience with aquatic and exotic animal species. Other areas of interest for Dr. Baugher include One Health, conservation medicine, neurology, and internal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys ridinghorses, traveling, and spending time with family, including her 5 dogs. No matter the animal, Dr.Baugher looks forward to building relationships with both her patients and clients.
