Dr. Samra grew up in the high Sierra mountains in California. She participated in 4-H, FFA, and raised cattle and horses on her family’s ranch. Dr. Samra received her Associates in Business Administration from Lassen Community College in 2011 and her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Colorado State University in 2014. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree Dr. Samra worked for USDA National Wildlife Research Center in Fort Collins, CO focusing on invasive species management and development of the oral rabies vaccine for wildlife. Dr. Samra graduated from the Colorado State University DVM program in May 2021.Dr. Samra’s professional interests include echocardiography, internal medicine, pain management, nutrition, and emergency medicine. Dr. Samra is passionate about teaching her clients and developing a relationship that balances the needs of clients and their pets. In her free time Dr. Samra enjoys adventuring with her two Corgi’s Imani and Porter, riding and training horses, binge watching Disney+, and quilting.
